After a week in Gujarat and not one conversation more than "What is your name?" or "Where
are you from?" (though I did see three other non-Indians during the week), I finally had a few conversations (so I still remember how). I met a couple from Arizona, a German man living in Denmark, and an Indian young man who accompanied me up the mountain.
I climbed the 5,500 steps (no, I did not count - they are painted every 50 steps) to the temple at the top of the mountain. My knees are good for 5,500 up and 3,500 down.

Just constructing the walk way is a feat in itself
