August 1st and 2nd: Laundry in the Labyrinth, and other stuff

So here is how my day goes on the island: I usually take a long walk in the morning, before it gets too hot (which is an impossibility, for it is always too hot, though, really, I don't mind the heat - I have had summer for a year now), then I hang out at Karina's Taverna for a while (Karina always makes me a nice Greek coffee, and always wants to feed me), then back to her apartment for a nap, then an early dinner at the restaurant (Karina and Georgios have to eat before they get busy with the dinner crowd), then a swim or snorkel in the sea, a shower and then back to the restaurant to just hang out for a while, before going to sleep.

Yesterday, before my long walk, I took a lot of laundry shots in the labyrinth of the village

Food
I have eaten the best Greek food ever!

Fried needle fish

This salad is called darkos, or paximade (salad of tomatoes and capers on top of delicious toast) with xinomizitra (a soft goat cheese)

Other
I know it is not laundry, but I thought it cute

Naoussa village

Santa Maria beach, on the northeast coast (it was at least a three hour walk there and back)

This morning I walked a top the hill overlooking Naoussa

And to my surprise and great delight, I saw goats!
