July 9th

I got up early to walk on Long Beach, but it was closed, so I headed south to the next beach, Combers Beach.

You can climb over the headland and end up at Long Beach.

I tried to capture the texture of the water on the sand, and ended up just liking how the water and sand merge into greyness.

It ended up being quite a walk - 1.5 hours each way.

I imagine I can see the curvature of the earth in this photo

In the afternoon I visited the shoreline bog

And then the rain forest
