2/13: Trichy

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy is "possibly the biggest temple in India," according to Lonely Planet. It is a city within a city, as you pass through seven towers (the largest is 240 feet tall) on your way to the inner chamber. Like the temple in Madurai, the immensity of this temple complex makes it impossible to photograph.
